 New Book- New series out!

This is a Science Fiction series that takes place in the same universe/setting as my book Masters of Time and Space but not a direct sequel or related to that story .   I really wanted a general title under which to put most books taking place in that universe but it was extremely difficult as so many of my ideas for names were already taken.   Finally I came out with Verce-Force which is about different characters in an intergalactic outer space military.  Most of them will be self-contained rather than being in a series.

The first book is about a space pilot named West.  It's now out on Amazon and Smashwords.  Enjoy.

 Flip Flops Rule!

 Jobriath

Recently  I watched a docu film on Roku about glam rocker Jobriath Boone(stage name).  I'd never heard of the singer before and the film was fascinating.  You have the usual friends  talking about what they know that is often found in films of this sort.  The interesting thing to me was seeing how the man started in the musical Hair where he had long hair and a more hippie appearance.  Then he took on glam rock and became one of the first openly gay performers of the day if not the first.  I actually think the way he looked in Hair was more accessible and typically "pretty boy" in a non insulting way.

Great hair in the pic above.  I then went on Youtube to listen to Jobriath's music.  His first album Pidgeon was quite enjoyable and I loved what seemed like a Baroque influence in some of the songs.

Link to album on Youtube:

My favorite of his songs so far:

I would love to hear more of that style which is , I suppose, very 1960s/70s. On as sidenote the female singer in this song has an absolutely beautiful voice.

The film Jobriath A.D. is well worth a watch, although I did hate all of the editing done and bleeping out of words.  I think films should be seen unedited. But, as  I said it's still worth seeing , if nothing else to discover or rediscover the artist and the man- Bruce Wayne Campbell's fascinating though tragic tale.
